While the Castle 18-03 Pendant vaguely resembles the parapets of a castle wall, it was actually inspired by the castle-shaped chess piece of the rook, which can only be moved vertically or horizontally. The pendant's structure reflects the chess piece's orthogonal movements with tubular glass diffusers emerging vertically and horizontally from the metal frame. The glass softly diffuses light from the integrated LED light source to provide ambient illumination.
