Randy Mario Poffo (born 15 November, 1952, died 20 May 2011) appeared in the CWA as 'Macho Man Randy Savage' in 1984 and 1985, then again in the USWA in 1993 on-loan from the World Wrestling Federation. A former minor league baseball player in the St. Louis Cardinals organization, Savage began wrestling in the baseball off-season in 1973.
