Connection Between a Short Leg and Upper Cervical Chiropractic

By A Mystery Man Writer

It is often clinically noted that when there is an upper cervical subluxation present, a discrepancy in leg lengths is observed as well.

There are an estimated 400 trillion nerve tracts that originate in the brain. The brainstem is the part of the nerve system where all these nerve tracts meet up before they branch out to every organ, muscle, and gland in your body. The brainstem runs all the way down to the first and second cervical vertebrae or bones of the neck. The brainstem contains all of the nerve tracts that control every organ and gland of the body: the heart, lungs, kidneys, liver, muscles etc. The brainstem connects the brain to the rest of the body. The brainstem and nerve system can function best when the base of the skull, atlas and axis bones are all lined up in a way so the channel through which the brainstem resides in is at its greatest. When these bones slip and get locked out of normal alignment- the channel gets smaller in diameter. When these bones misalign and close off the main channel to the rest of the body, it compresses and irritates the brainstem and surrounding tissue. This compression effects the brainstem and its ability to send functional information out clearly. This is called a vertebral subluxation. A vertebral subluxation results from a failure of the body to adapt to some stress or combination of stresses that continuously impact our bodies on a daily basis. The HIO Specific procedure has been shown to help people of any age with all types of conditions; including Parkinson's, asthma, hypertension, fibromyalgia, emotional disorders, multiple sclerosis, diabetes mellitus, stomach disorders, allergies, vertigo- to name just a few. Dr. Jarek's goal at OHIO Specific Chiropractic is to open up the brainstem nerve channel so your body can connect with your brain and your brain can connect with your body at its greatest functional potential. When the brainstem can function at its best, health can be expressed at its greatest. Dr. Jarek prides himself on being very specific at locating and removing vertebral subluxations at the brainstem level.
